While outside clearing off the horsetail farm, the day turned black. The sun went behind the moon, and the day became night. I took a break to appreciate the spectacle. The sun came back out and I got back to work.
I went inside once the horsetail farm was cleared. I went down the stairs to the cellar and ate some meat stew. I find the meat stew to be visually unappealing. It looks like the piles of meat that are left once defeating various creatures in the mines. All it needs is some rusty metal rebar sticking out of the meat.
Our stock of quartz is low. There are a few places in the mines where I have seen more. I need to drop off two leather backpacks and take two mining bags with me so I can make better use of my time. It isn’t fun coming back up six times to unload, when I can only do it twice.
The bread man showed me how to carry crates, which has also saved me a lot of time. I can get 1600 of an item on top of what I can carry in my bags. It’s an amazing increase in movement capacity. Even with factoring in how slow I walk coming up stairs carrying a crate, it’s still a lot less time going back and forth.
I rode back to town over the weekend and found a second path making schematic. I brought it back with me and plan on developing roads over this area in the coming days. I love paths.
